 In 1977, a big storm and serious rock fall at Lyme Regis on England's south coast revealed a treasure trove of fossils that had been hidden within the cliffs. This event triggered widespread interest in England's 'Jurassic coast' and helped to increase the awareness of – and demand for – fossils, minerals and other such objects. A passionate palaeontologist, Simon seized the opportunity this presented and founded Fossils.

Over 30 years later, it is still Simon's love of stones that drives the business. Speaking four languages, buying from source and always keeping his ear to the ground has enabled Simon to amass a huge amount of expertise and an enviable number of contacts in the rock business throughout the world.  

When a customer calls and needs something shipped to somewhere nearby, to Skye or even Dubai, they can rest assured that we will be working together to do all we can to get the order prepared, ready to go and delivered on time.

In addition to our authentic fossils and crystals, including rough geological specimens sourced from around the world, we prepare rocks, manufacture stone products and supply the giftware trade – including museums, theme parks, gift, rock and new age shops, specialist collectors, and Reiki and other crystal healers.
